flexplate torque???

Can anyone confirm that the flexplate bolts on a 350turbo should be torqued at 35 ft lbs and what is the sequence of the pattern when tightening? I've done a search and cant really find anything. Thanks

Re: flexplate torque???

I just Googled "350 flexplate torque" and so far (3 out of 3) it's 60 lb/ft.
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&s...=Google+Search

Dunno about the pattern, though. If I find it, I'll post it.

Re: flexplate torque???

The 1967 chassis service manual specifies 33 Ft Lb for the flexplate and 60 Ft Lb for the flywheel. Pattern is a Star.
