Sounds like it will beat you to death. What are you looking for out of the lift flex or looks or you wanting to haul with it. I have tuff country lift on my 89 k5 and love it. They are very soft. With shocks i prob have 600 and some change.

Re: 6 inch lift springs

towing and hauling plus off road use.I dont want to lose the 3/4 ton rating.most lift kits use the same springs for 1/2,and 3/4 ton.So what are you getting? 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton springs.I talk to sevral people (salesman) and no one knows...I use that 8' bed on that truck.Anything form drywall to dirt and so on..

Re: 6 inch lift springs

we really need something like the blazer guys did...
http://coloradok5.com/springratetable.shtml
they have a list of lift spring rates for just such an occasion...these are probably applicable to some of the lift springs we are using on our trucks cause they come from similar years and sizes...check out the link from the CK5 board

hey man...are the rear springs in your 89' 56" springs by chance? if so do you know if they are centered? (center bolt equal-distant to each bolt hole?)
