Tell me about this horn button.

My truck has the custom group listed on both sides of the SPID, I'm just wondering if this is part of that package. I would post a pic of the SPID but can't get a clear one. My camera has wandered off and my daughters blurs it till it's unreadable.

Also best I can tell that is actual mileage 89174.

Re: Tell me about this horn button.

That is a 67-68 IIRC, CST emblem and worth pretty good money if it isn't all pitted up. They don't reproduce them. Trevor

Re: Tell me about this horn button.

Thanks for the quick replies, mine is a Custom so that is the one that would have came with my truck? But if it is worth good money, I can see it possibly financing other more necessary work on my truck LOL. I do have one of the stainless horn buttons I could live with for my use. No this is not a for sale add, just talking.

Re: Tell me about this horn button.

It has been said on this board that the chrome/acrylic button is only on the 67-68 CST or Custom Sport Truck optioned truck, but I have seen this on Custom option trucks (two of them so far but who knows if those have not been switched by POs.). Pretty cool caps. The ones that I have brought and sold have been around $40-$50 each. I have seen several of the Chevy ones, have never seen the GMC one in person, only in pictures.
