Well, when it rains it pours

So my 72 C10 had the rubber blown out on the Carrier bearing (Center support bearing) so I pulled the driveline and I always make a habit to replace U joints when the lines out, so I dropped it off at the machine shop to have him press the new bearing on and put the joints in cause I HATE replacing U joints, always have.

So I am all stoked to get my driveline back, hop in my 05 2500HD Chevy to run up town to see if he is done and what do you know, the truck is vibrating like a buzz saw on the freeway and you can feel the bad spot in the joint when going slow.

I moved a trailer on the property this morning and guess it was that joints last pull.

Looks like two of my trucks are getting new U joints now.

Thought I would share my Irony

Hope you all have a great weekend, at least the weather out here in Cali is awesome right now

Re: Well, when it rains it pours

my woman left me 2 weeks ago, yesterday afternoon my 4l60e in the 67 broke, came home to find my refrigerator not working last nite.

i work in a driveline shop, wanna trade problems? lol

this year is turning out to be exactly like last year, engine, woman, hvac.

im lucky enough to still have a decent job and the emergency fund was about 2 days away from being cam for the boat engine fund. i guess crap-luck is better than bad luck.

the only choice in life is to keep on truckin!

I couldn't agree more Brad, I just thought it was funny, I had a bad driveline while going to pick up another driveline

And No, I'll keep my problems , sounds like you are having a rough month bud. Go find a hotter woman, grab a fridge on craigslist, and have a tuff trans built.

You got my prayers Bro!
