1. Yes I want one as well. You should not have too much trouble with the bench seat with that shifter with it having a taller base.
2. If you need a new column let me know. I know of a guy on Ebay that sells tilt columns for our trucks rebuilt to GM specs cheap. I got mine from him for $115 shipped and no core charge. 3. Had one on a 84 truck and never will go back.
