Help cab swap wiring what to do
here in a few weeks i plan on doing my first cab swap by swapping out my 85 chevy cab for an 86 cab cause the 86 is in way better shape than mine is. but im not sure what i do about all the wiring for the sensors and computer in the 86. cause my 85 chevy is carbureted nor have all the extra wiring for senors and computer controlled stuff and etc. do i just cut them out or trace them to were they tie into and remove them. any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: Help cab swap wiring what to do
Imho I would use the whole harness from the 85 and label everything maybe pics too or draw some diagrams/take notes and use it. I also would remove and label the other harness and sell it afterwards.

Re: Help cab swap wiring what to do
the wiring in the 85 is a nightmare cause the guy who owned the truck before me didnt really know what he was doing i think cause the are alot of wires that are taped off and are just hanging out under the dash maybe it would just be easier to just get a painless wiring kit and redo the whole truck
