Re: Long Project: Orange Julius

DONT DO THE ADAPTERS! I had heard nightmare stories about them, but I figured they were probably exaggerated. So I tried them on my '67 Mustang Convertible ... took every precaution to make sure they were good and tight. My left front came loose on the road, and took out the fender, firewall crush panels, rocker panel trim ... and a bit of my stomach was lodged in my throat for a few weeks.
Sell 'em, cut your losses and buy something that fits.

I've been looking at some 8 lug Intro's for my Suburban. They make sick rims.

After i did some research, I found that the Boyds will actually fit my custom S10 Blazer that I also have... So I think I might keep them for that now!

Hey, been reading up. Lookin good. Like the rim idea, those'll look killer. How about blacking out the headlamp buckets, making the grill and headlamps stand out?

Thank you! Im excited to get the wheels coming.

Im not too sure about the blacked out headlight buckets. I guess I could try it on these and see how I like it. If not, get some new ones or have them rechromed

In these pics the truck looks higher than in the most recent. Did you do something else with the suspension?

Re: Long Project: Orange Julius

I have also found the definite wheel that will be going on the truck. Its the Intro Speedstar.

Going to be 18x8 in the front and 20x9.5 in the rear(might talk to Intro and see if I can get them to make a 10"wide for the rear). It will have the stepped lip, and custom backspaces to get as much dish as I can in the rear...
I love these mainly because I love the Cragar S/S, and these have a very similar taste to them, just a little more on the custom side of things though

He sure is doing a slick job ,when do you get home to touch it? I'm up in the air about grill surround on mine also. I'm thinking of painting strips of masking tape to put on it to see if I like the look of the color.
