electric fan sizing
Is a single 16" puller fan mounted in a shroud sufficient to keep the engine cool? Figure a mild big block for engine.
Kenneth

Ken,
I think it depends on alot of things...I assume you will be using a stock 4 core or aluminum? Electric or, mechanical water pump? When I installed my 502 I purchased a BeCool module which included twin fans, shroud and radiator...it was expensive but it keeps the motor cool.....I heard Vintage Air (not sure if thats correct) has a twin fan/shroud combo for the 67-72 trucks..

fan size
like the old saying bigger is better! go to your local NAPA or part master store and look at the back of a fan package some tell what size fan you need. It goes by cubic inch or horse power of your motor I can't remember which for sure. My sons 327 called for twin 12" !
