slammed67 or other guys with bags, what backspacing are u using?

desperately trying to find out if 4.5" backspacing on a 8" rim will tuck under the front fenderlips, ive had contradicting answers so far.

i would just measure myself but my truck is disassembled.

let me know what you guys have on your rims.

thanks for answering my question.

LOL on the tach/air cluster, didnt know that was you! i just found it the last 1.5 hours and decided to bid on it.

Ed at mother truckers had one on hold for me for $200, try contact him, i told him to pass it on to someone else. he said he had someone else lined up but give it a shot, when i first contacted him he said he had 3 of them.

Yeah, that was funny when you made that post that you just won a tach/air gauge! I was like "You bastard!!" Oh well. I just got a very nice Camaro tach off eBay that I'm gonna use instead.

The contradiction may be that the clearance on the step bed is tighter (??). Or... it may be the tire I'm using... Goodrich CompTA 255/50.

Hey Kenneth, I think he was asking about the fronts, not the rears. Please pay better attention in the future!

Yeah, yeah. And my answer in his other thread is still the same... 4.5" bs didn't tuck on mine, so I went to 5", which work great.

I've got 5.25 b.space on my 18x8" TT2's for the front.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
