Jerry Moss-going down the tubes

Figured that would get your attention.LOL
Knowing your business and reputation here, I value your opinion.
What are your choice of mufflers for my 3/4 4x4. I want quiet, clearance and flow.
I saw a pic of one of your trucks with round ones. What are they?

those are made by a local company called Allied Mfg. in Benica,Ca., they're nothing special-6 inch round,24 inches long, welded 16 gauge steel. they have a good sound and are indestructable. i used them mainly for their long life as i rarely ever drive that truck--it's been done over 18 months and still has under 500 miles since then. if you want good flow, you're gonna get some noise with it, i personally like magnaflow mufflers. they are mellow cruising around town but open it up and you know it !!
by the way--i've been doing exhaust work since "85 and in that time i've only had to replace 1 of those Allied mufflers as a defect and we run them on motorhomes, big block duallies, farm trucks, anything that gets abused. they're tough S.O.B.s.
you won't find Flowmaster's on anything I own, they generate way too much heat. I sell a lot of them to newer truck owners but i also remove a lot of them and replace them with magnaflow's to "mellow out" the sound. Flowmaster "fans" would crap if they saw some of the nearly new flows i put in the scrap bin.

I don't know what Jerry's experience wiht them is, but I really like the Walker Dynomax Hemi turbos on my Jimmy. THey are LONG, however. I like the Walker 8" round RV muffler and am considering a pair of 3" i/o ones for my truck. Not cheap at $80 each however. But should flow excellent and be virtually undetectable, but the packaging to get the 36" case under a coil spring truck will be tough. My trucks are all leaf.
