Can somebody take a measurement from the steel part of the dash where the column goes through to the point where the column and steering wheel join?

I basically want to know how far the steering column protrudes from the dash.

I'll run out and measure mine but I need to know if you plan on the mod for the steering wheeel to be closer to the dash....my shifter collar is flush with the plastic dash
