Keeping Cool
I currently have a fixed 7 blade fan and I want to switch to a fan clutch setup. On a non AC 350 with a 3-core radiator is a 5 blade good enough or should I stick with a 7 blade.
I found many cheap 5 blade setups on ebay, but few 7's. Oh, one more thing. I noticed that GM's fans are not symetcrical, while I found an after market 6 blade on Summit Racing that was symetrical.
As I understand, having offest blades reduces tip noise, does it really make much difference? |

i have an offset gm 5 blade fan from my 77 350. you can have it for the cost of shipping if you like, no clutch though. sorry

I may take you up on that if the consensus is that a 5 blade is fine. Sounds like it should be if you had it on a 350. I'll let ya know! |
