New guy w/ Question
Hi guys new to the furom
I've got a 1965 gmc that I bagged and c notch I'm having a issue after 2 years I hear and feel a rumbling noise coming from under the cab. First thing I thought was the u- joint wich I changed both front and rear. The rumbling noise is still there just not as bad I also notice as I raise the rear the noise gets even quiter. Lower down my rear and I can reAlly feel it on my pedal and hear it loud. Any one gone through this Last edited by Sick5; 03-23-2010 at 03:21 PM. |

Re: New guy w/ Question
Id say slip joint on driveline since driveline is shorter when rear end is raised, the splines are only in a little bit i lifted a jeep wrangler now it has a vibration and noise when accelerating, had to get a custom built driveline, anyways check that, later, matt

Re: New guy w/ Question
You may be hammering your trans to death. Check your driveshaft length.

Re: New guy w/ Question
If you have a one piece driveshaft, I agree with Jeff.
