Racing Air suspension
right now my truck is my daily driver but i am planning on turning it into a street/strip level racer. but right now im just doing some research...
does anyone have a preformance air suspension? im not talking about "bagging" a truck so the frame is on the ground, i just want about a 4 inch drop so it has a sweet stance and will handle really well in the turn and on the drag strip |

Re: Racing Air suspension
Handling through the turns and drag racing require completely different suspension setups. A car that will carve corners will likely not hook up on the drag strip. There really is no one size fits all.

Re: Racing Air suspension
I am trying this with a C4 dropmember by porterbuilt hot rods and a rear trailing arm conversion with adjustable coilovers at all 4 corners. I can change the bounce and rebound and the ride height for different types of driving. I can't say how well it works since I am currently in process of this conversion. Seemed like the best option without bolting the body on a C5 chassis.
You can have the best of both worlds as long as you do your homework and are prepared to spend the money, make the modifications and spend the time tuning everything in. Good Luck

Re: Racing Air suspension
I posted a few pics in this thread. I will have a build thread soon. I am going to get it 99% done then start the build thread so the thread doesn't go on forever and you can get all the info and pics in the first page.
I just got the rear all tac'ed up and on the ground. Watch for my turbo build thread to.
