New '73 LWB project quick questions
I'm new on here and love the site, just looking for some answers.
Where is the best place to buy a flip kit and what else does it take to get a 4/6 drop on a low budget? I can't figure out why my brake lights aren't working after tracing wires from back to front. Is the switch on the pedal something that commonly goes out and could I buy a new one at a parts store? Has anyone shaved their gas caps and put them on the inside of the bed? Any special challenges there? Thanks! I should be posting my first pics tomorrow. I just bought the truck two weeks ago so far I have: -tuned up and re-timed the engine -installed a new dash -painted the exterior and wheels -filled a ton of trim holes -installed a tiny hot rod mirror in place of the two camper special monster mirrors -bought a seat cover -fixed the dome light door switches -and cleaned up the 350 more to come! I've been having a blast driving and working on it and hope to drop and restore it ASAP with help from all of you. It will eventually be a flat burnt orange colored, big black rimmed beauty. Here are the first pics ever posted of it! When I first bought it for $800 2 weeks ago This is how I drove it until most of the holes were filled and the trim was gone Here is the interior with the new dash installed last night And here is the beast how it sits today! Re: New '73 LWB project quick questions
I bought my stuff from CPP. Spindles, flip kit, C notch, shock extenders, and shackles were around $470. I thought that was a great deal. I plan on cutting the coil in it now, and I bought the shackles "just in case" it needs to be even lower.

Re: New '73 LWB project quick questions
Thanks, obviously I can't drop it 4/6 with 33s on it! It'll have some cheap wheels and tires for a while as long as they're black They'll do.
