K10 Cab Mounts...need second opinion - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I bought a complete cab mount kit (Counterpart #67-5001) a while back and I need a second opinion on where they mount. The kit didn't come with any instructions so instead of totally guessing at this I hope someone can confirm what I'm already thinking.

Looking at the attached picture, the mounts circled in red are for the rear of the cab and the blue circled mounts are for the front cab mounts?

If this is correct what are the other mounts (4) for? Core support maybe?

Also, do I use the metal sleeves in the front bushings?

That is what they are. Look at NOTE just above and left of red box.

That note is for a 2wd kit listed in the ad above the picture I attached.

I have that same kit and had the same question, MSGROSS posted pics of his and although they are somewhat different, the ones you have circled in red go on the back of the cab. http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...d.php?t=391397

What are your thoughts about the ones in blue? Are those the correct front mounts?

I would say yes, according to his pics. I don't know why counterpart does'nt send instructions?

Is it safe to guess that the other (4) mounts are for the radiator support then? Also, did you only get (2) bolts in your kit as well?

Yep, been trying to find out what size bolts I need for the radiator support and the front cab.

I'm not sure about the core support bolts, but this is what I found out about the bolt sizes for the cab. The front cab mount bolts are 9/16-12 and the rear ones are 7/16-14. Hope this helps.

Yep for sure that helps, my kit is just as yours and it only came with the 7/16 bolts. Thanks!
