What is the right instant center ??
Hello
i am also not sure about the right instant center.... According to all the stuff here on the net...... the lower bars of a triangulated 4link kit should be parallel to the ground at ride height.... pls let me know where i should determine the instant center.....so i can check out the angle of the upper bars .... IS it really necessary to have the lower bars parallel to the ground or is the right instant center even more important ??? This is going to depend upon what your intended use, drag racing, road racing etc.
The lower bars being parallel to the ground have to do with driving the truck foreward. Your instant center is going to be determined to the upper bars and their relationship to the lowers. Having them adjustable is probably best, if possible. That way you can work out what is best for you.

hy and thx for ur response......
the pickup is just a show truck no drag racing at all. But for some burn outs it should be good enough :-) so far i try to get the lower bars as much parallel at ride height as possible. But i dont understand how i can keep them adjustable ???? After welding the job is done or not ?? THx |

The adjustability can be built into the brackets in the form of mounting locations for the bar ends.
