ART Arms and sway bar

So I have ART arms on my bagged 70 and trying to find a sway bar that will fit. I believe I have the newer version control arms from ART and those arms are also for 73-84 spindle. I came across several different posts by members in the search and came across belltech's sway bar, part #5404. Has anyone used this sway bar with success?

Re: ART Arms and sway bar

If you have the later version of the Strong Arms, why not use the Ride Tech (ART) Musclebar kit?

Re: ART Arms and sway bar

Because I don't have $400 to drop on a sway bar.

Re: ART Arms and sway bar

Contact Nate Porter at Portebuilt Street Rods.
(you can also PM him on here)

He sells an Addco sway bar for around $225-$250.
I think he can get a stock swaybar and the modified swaybar that fits his Dropmembers.

I have both the Addco and the RideTech StrongArm sway bar.
To me,... the RideTech version, just isn't worth the $400.

I'm going to X2 on this... $400 for a swaybar and some end links?? I order an Addco sway bar from Nate also. Usually, if Nate doesn't have a solution to a problem on these trucks, he's working on it..

Re: ART Arms and sway bar

No worries I guess. Here is my rear setup. Still need to brace the notch from side to side and then it will all be covered with the ribbed bed to flow over and cover then notch.
