redoing my front suspension, need your opinion

so i have 3 inch drop coils and 2.5 inch spindles and bell tech nitro drop 2 shocks. my control arm are looking pretty bad so i was thinking about taking the fron suspension apart and paint and new bushings for everything.

i was going to go with those red energy bushing for everthing, i want the suspension to look good. so what color do you think i should spray the control arms and other parts. i was thinking either pearl red, blue or black, what do you guys think?

Re: redoing my front suspension, need your opinion

I painted all of my suspension pieces a semi-gloss black and then the calipers and rotor hats a grey color. I had anticipated on putting a set of the Boss 338's in the grey center, but that never came to fruition . But it looks good when I take the wheel off

Re: redoing my front suspension, need your opinion

I used red Energy Suspension bushings with 60 percent gloss black powdercoat on the arms and argent silver powder on the shafts under my 63 truck. I like the look.

Satin black looks great and holds up well, high gloss does not. I used several different grays for accent colors on mine.

What color is the truck?

My Blazer before this one was red and white, I painted most everything semi-gloss black and the peripheral parts red.

The Blazer I have now is blue, so last time it was in the shop for a drop everything got painted semi-gloss black or corporate blue. That's when the truck got it's name. <shrug?> Just a thought.

I am not sure how much truth their is to it but I have heard the black poly bushings are graphite impregnated while the red aren't.
