Spotlight on a 60-63?

Does anyone have pictures of a 60-63 with a post mounted spotlight? I am getting an original GM spotlight for my 63 and I want to see how it mounts to the pillar.

For what it's worth, there's an original Unity spotlight mounting bracket and template on eBay (closing today) which claims to fit this series trucks.

1963 Chevrolet Accessories Installation Manual.

Factory template Chevrolet

An Email from Bob. This guy knows his spotlights!

"Norm, sorry about the delay. I have had the Unity factory looking for templates, gaskets, and the special inside bracket. They have not had any luck. So all I could get was a couple of the 141R brackets themselves. The cost is $40.00 each plus shipping. If you have a left side already mounted you could make a template off of that and turn it over for the right side. You may order by email or phone me at Accessoryland (563)556-5482. Thank you very much. Bob"

Re: Spotlight on a 60-63?

Exterior bracket was cast by Autolite #141L & 141R. The interior bracket was #181L & # 181R if I remember correctly. Unity Model CH spotlight. The handle is also stubbier than the regular Unity spotlight handle. There was also a bracket from Unity #31 & 31RH which was a universal type bracket in the shape of an elongated tear drop that was installed through the door or cowl.

Would really like to see what you get. I waited 20 years for the template for my lights which I`ll be installing this summer.

Cool! The one I am getting looks like the one on the GMC book which is perfect since it's for my 63 GMC.

Now, how much longer do I have to wait for the brackets to arrive? Is it NOS in a GMC box?

Re: Spotlight on a 60-63?

I bought it off ebay. It's a used spotlight but it looks pretty good. I don't know when it's gonna show up. I'll try to paste some pics from the ebay page later today.
