Gasket connection on exhaust for Banks?

My banks sidewinder system takes up so much room on the passenger side



engine bay that I have to disconnect the first exhaust pipe and shake it loose in the next exhaust pipe to change my glow plugs:



The first exhaust pipe begins with a six bolt and gasket connection to the turbocharger.

It would be easier to disconnect (rather than shaking) the first pipe if it were connected to the next exhaust tube with a similar six bolt and gasket connection. Then I could just unbolt it at the start from the turbocharger and unbolt it at the other end from the next tube too.

Does anybody use such a connection farther down the exhaust system rather than clamping one tube into the next?
