anybody using summit alum radiator?
I see that summit sells an aluminum radiator for $160 31"x19". Has anybody used one of these? How is the fit?

I am actually wondering the same thing. I am thinking of getting that radiator from summit...the price is great especially if it fits good. Let us know please. Thanks

What's the part number on it? I don't know the answer to your question... I'm just doing a "me too" as I'm interested in the radiator if it fits.

summit part number is sum-380331 and it is $179.95. I got the price confused with a qoute I had on a brass four core radiator. Still trying to figure out if it will work.

I have one. It works awesome, BUT, you have to be careful with two things, one: dis-similar metals, and two: fragility
It I was doing it all over, Id probably spring for the 4 row copper brass job, it 's tougher, no issues with metal erosion, and it should work just as good as the aluminum one.

I measured my existing radiator, then ordered up a matching radiator. It just fits in perfect, I dont recall making any modifications, except it seems I had to bend the hoses in a slightly different angle, and oh yes, the radiator cap was a special one, I had to order one just for the radiator. That was like 5 years ago, so maybe the design has changed. it was no problem at all to install the radiator itself. Because i had an auto trans, I also had to install a trans cooler on the front, if you have a manual, you have no worries there.
