independent 12v a/c system?
ok im stumped.
at the carwash today i seen another old chevy 4x4 just similar to mine so i stopped and chatted with the guy for a while. his air conditioning was a completely 12v system? it wasnt running a compressor or anything off the engine,it was 100% 12v. he kicked it on and when it turned on it turned all the stuff inside on almost like an electric compressor inside and started blowing out cold air. does anyone know where to get something like this?! i would LOVE to find it and have one. i asked him but he said it was in the truck when he bought it

Pictures would help. It's probably a completely custom made unit. Yes 12 volt compressors are available. You can find them in those 12 volt plug in fridges.
