Have been reading forums on here for a while. I just joined and wanted to say hi to everyone. Doing a frame up on a 1960 Apache 10.

Re: New Guy from Florida
I may have found my project off craigslist. This guy has a 54 chevy five window for 850 complete with non running six cyl. everthing there but the grille. May be able to wheel and deal better then that. We will see.

Re: New Guy from Florida
I am so torn right now. I may be looking at the 54 chevy. I really don't want to do a frame swap and not sure if it would be wise to restore all original frame/suspension. I also have a 71 gmc with a 307 three speed from second owner for 1400, a 72 v8 munus motor but has trans with minimal rust for 500 and a 65 stepside long bed for 1k. I am trying to get with this guy who has a barn find 72 stepside short with 6cyl for 475 but some of these people just do not communicate. I am hoping to have something by next week if I am lucky. Just want to take my time and get what I want and that will not break the bank. How are you doing?

Re: New Guy from Florida
Just dropped off my engine at the machine shop, finishing blasting the frame. Will start assembly of frame as money allows. One thing you learn on restorations is Patience
Later FamilyGuy, Hope you find what you are looking for! |
