One of my guys found a 68 in craigslist about three hours north of us. He went to see it and bought it on the spot. I know you all like picts so here are some picts of it. He has been in love with my truck and he told me that he wanted one badly. His plans are to paint it all one color, take the electric window kit off, re upholster the whole interior, new wheels and make sure that it is reliable.

Nice lookin' truck. Came across it on the interweb a while back. I used the paint detail on the bedside, for a golf cart I painted, different colors but same idea.
Maybe your whole crew could get a fleet of them going

I honestly dont know but I am sure it was super nice at one time leather interior all electric, digital gauges. The guy he bought it from said that it had been sitting for four years. we are going to go to town on it if you know what I mean.

Nice Looking Truck but too my eyes if it is indeed a 68, then why does it have 67 Fenders and 67 Bedsides?? 68s all had side marker lamps... But it is a sweet looking truck though..

you know how it is, how people some times piece these trucks together, it is titled a 68 so I will say is a 68 lights or not......

it does need work but not quite as much, i forgat to upload picts of the engine compartment which i will do tomorrow..

Maybe someone did some body work on it and used delete plates on the side markers.

Also nice clean truck for sure

Yeah I hear you on that, I have seen a trend where people are putting the Front clips from 67 - 68 Chevs to the 69+ trucks because they like the looks of the 67 - 68.. One guy told me after I fix up my swb, to bring it too him because he said a true 68 is what people want that he knows.. I told him no thanks because I love my truck!

That truck is still in great looking shape. All of these need some work one way or the other but if I could have found one that clean from the beginning, I would be way ahead.

I went outside earlier and really looked it over it has some rust on the drivers rocker, the passenger side roof lip and thats it. If I get my hands on it I know what my guys and I would do with it but my guy is in a budget and just wants to own one and have fun with it...
