Re: 1968 Golden Ann. ?????
I do not recall any...but I am no expert. I have only one brochure showing a 50th Anniversary Longhorn but no mention of the 50th option was even made in that big foldout brochure. I have a 50th Anniversary sales promotion package, including some 35mm film, issued by GM that is also sorely lacking on information about the 50th option but really gets to the heart of selling trucks...LOL!

It would not be unlike GM to do that. The anniversary Corvette's are always pretty low key. Seems like Pontiac did an anniversary package sometime between 1998 and 2002. You could order any Pontiac with it but it was not marketed at all. There was a lot of debate about it over on the LSX boards. I'm not talking about the 2002 Special Edition TA that was yellow. It was an anniversary package for the Pontiac brand.

I have a original 68 4x4 short bed 50th anniversary pickup. How rare is it? It is a matching number motor etc. I have no brochures.

Thanks guys, I'll just have to keep looking and hope to find something that nobody has seen. If I do I'll post it.

Re: 1968 Golden Ann. ?????
the trucks are nice --not necessarly rare as they sold a lot of them. Short, long, fleet, ---came loaded or stripped but all had that gold and white. Brochures are probably rare-er then the trucks!!

Re: 1968 Golden Ann. ?????
I have a 2nd edition, dated Feb 1968 copy of the Price & Facts Book shown above in this thread. If anyone has questions about prices or codes let me know. I also have a 68 GMC 1500 custom, 56k original one owner miles it is gold/white it is often confused for the 50th edition Chevrolet
