remove paint from over VIN tag
My newest toy a 74 K10 had been repainted some time in its life and they painted over the VIN tag.
Anybody have a suggested method to get the paint of the tag without damaging the VIN tag itself?

Re: remove paint from over VIN tag
Throw a little paint remover on it and let it sit till the paint falls off.The paint remover won't hurt the tag any.Oh do you mean the one on the door? was thinking the metal one in the dash,if it's the one of the door then it,s toast
