Which drop spindle?
Hey guys!
Had a little bad luck over the weekend, to make a long story short, I toasted a wheel bearing and during the process ruined the threads on the spindle along with the hub. So.. my question is, Which spindles do I need? The truck is a 70, but has been converted to disk brakes with the 1" rotors. Im going to buy drop spindles because I was going to lower the truck more anyway,,so now is the time. I can get numbers off the spindle thats on the truck now to confirm if its a 71-72 style or 73-87??? All help is appreciated.. need to get some parts ordered ASAP aaron |

Re: Which drop spindle?
If you have 1 inch rotors, they have to be the newer style. They used thick rotors up in to the early 80s

Re: Which drop spindle?
When you buy the spindles it will ask which rotor size you have. I prefer DJM because they offer 3" and the price is good. Get your best price and PM NORCAL SS for the best deal on the forum. He has and Ad here- LINK
