need help with a drop

HI I am droping my truck I think I am going for a 6/7 I know the kits are normally 5/7 but here a explanation on why , see if you guys can help.....
ok.... I measured from the edge of the fender my drive way floor , they are as folllow 31 1/4 front driver 31 5/8 front pass side 32 1/8 rear driver and 31 1/2 rear pass, I am running 15x8 rally's with a 275/60r15 set up , which i think is a 26 inch tire or so... I am wanting to do a static drop(slam) with some 20x8.5 in front and 20x10 in the rear, dont know the exact tire size yet but I am thinking its going to be around the 29 inch area, right now the gap between the edge of the fender and the top of the tire is around 5.inches this is only the first truck i ever drop. so i am a little lost, I am thinking whe I do the 29ish tire, the gap between the tire and fender edge should be cut to around 3 1/2 from the taller tire, and the overall high of the truck become around 1.5 inches higher, but might be over thinking it... I just feel lost, and the trucks height is ever front/rear since my front came up after I swaped the 5.3/4l60e combo.. any help pls.., but have no idea about what kit to buy....the pic might look a little funny from making it smaller

just do the flip in the rear with a notch and you can always add blocks later and spindles and springs in the front should get you where you want to be. Summit racing sells the stuff your looking for.

yes for the link N2trux, i wanted to do the air over leaf but have decided that just doing a drop is the best think for me to do..

let see if I make any sense... I have a 5.5 inch gap between tire and fender with a 275/60r15 set up. so if I go with a 20" rim and tire around the 29 inch tall tire, that will cut my 5.5 gap to around a 4inch gap? and if so,, If I buy the sponsors kit n2trux suggested, and get a 6 inch total drop for the front, I know it sounds like a lot but once again the trucks front came up since the lighter engine swap, as long i get the right 20's tires and the correct backspacing, I shoudlnt have any turning issues right? sorry for all the Q's just want to do it right the first time or at least tried. lol

I've lowered a couple of truck, mine and a bunch of friends trucks. Anywehere from a 2/4 to a 6/8.5 or so on my truck.

From my personal expirience when lowering old trucks and cars you can measure as much as you want and plan ahead as much as you want and its a 50/50 deal. 2 out of 4 drops will come out exactly the way you planedd and the the other 2 will come out slightly off.

Go with a 3in spindles and springs in the front, flip in the back and 2 inch shackels with a c notch and for your sake and your trucks sake get the drop shocks. 5inch in the rear with shock extenders(because the biggest or smallest drop shocks I've seen is 5in which means you should still run the extenders) and 3 inch drop shocks in the front.

Do the drop and go from there. If there's any minor rubbing issues and things your not satisfied with, go back re evaluate and fix. Watch those front lower a arms going in and out of driveways and have fun looking low mean and clean. Just my .02.
