man I'm thinking about the same thing right now. I have a decent built T350, but I want the 4th gear.

i second that. i have the same setup 383 pushing 410 hp and 450 f/lbs on a turbo 350 done up and i still want another gear... doing 2200 2500 rpms on the highway isnt so great on gas haha get a 4L80E. its a tougher tranny and with a shiftkit and a higher converter it should be just as good as the turbo 350 plus you still have the 4th gear
