Just wondering what a 402 and a turbo 400 would be worth. They both run fine, are out of a 72 3/4 ton. A guy wants to sell me one and i want to know what to offer him

It would depend on whether or not you are getting all of the accessory bracketry. That stuff can be a real pain to try and piece together.

Yeah, it is complete. I can even get the motor mounts. Everything from the oil pan to the carb

I bought a 427 bb for $750. It was complete minus the carb. No transmission either. It was in great shape though. Hope this helps!!!

As far as big blocks are concerned, the 402 is probably the least desirable. It is still a big block though. I would think that if you could get everything for $300-$400 you would be doing OK.

griesel72, found the 427 at a truck salvage lot. Put it in my '75 GMC school bus. Helluva difference compared to the 366 that was in it!!!! Hope I didn't pay too much for it.

by the way, I also like my 402.
