Turbo 400- wants to go and not stop

Hey guys, hope someone might be able to help me out with a question. I had my Turbo 400 installed last week and it shifts and drives good. It seems that when it gets hot (after I drive is 10 minutes or so) and stop, it wants to continue to pull. I have to nearly stand on the brake to keep it still. Then when I park and shift to reverse and then drive, it snatches pretty hard. This only happens when its hot. It goes into gear smooth when it's cold (no snatch or lunge)... What do ya'll think is the issue here? It has a brand new torque converter.

Forward clutches set to tight. Could also be in the V-body or the converter. When the forward clutches are to tight or starting to weld together it will become one with the crankshaft. In otherwords, it is slightly engaged all the time. What kinda fluid you running in it? Did it come with a warranty?

What's your idle speed? If it is too high the engine will over run the stall speed of the converter and want to keep pulling against the trans at a stop and do the bang into gear thing.

This will happen if you have a hot cam in the engine and the converter has a real low stall speed. Or if the idle is adjusted up to keep the engine running for some reason or another.

I'm going to play with adjusting the idle this weekend. Hopefully, I can work it out.
However, I think you have given me the answer... It's the hot cam and OE converter. I know nothing about the cam in this thing, other than it isn't stock-It definatley has a chop to it.
