1972 Cab Trim Removal
All,
I need to remove the cab trim piece(s) that is just below the rear window. I am not sure how to do this and keep it re-usable?? thanks!! rodstored-72 |

The trim is held on with small plastic clips. The last one I did I used a small screwdriver & the corner of a putty knife to pop the trim loose from the corner of the cab then slide it off of the other clips. If your paint is nice use a piece of cardboard under your tools. After you get the trim off the clips just slide the clips over and pull them off. Use something like a gasket scraper close to the plastic clip and kind of rock the molding to release it.
