Re: Dallas Hot Rod Parts?

I heard of them when they were barnyard customs.... unless they have improved i have heard alot of negativity from past s10 buddies .....

I would recommend board vendor Porterbuilt. Give nathan a ring. heres his website.

Re: Dallas Hot Rod Parts?

It is the same guy from BarnYard but since he has started DHP I haven't heard any complaints from anyone. I seem to remember the majority of the complaints dealt with service and not the actual part quality. Maybe he learned from past mistakes...

Re: Dallas Hot Rod Parts?

I don't know anyhting about Dallas Hot Rod Parts formerly known as Barnyard Parts. Therefore, I cannot comment. But what I can vouch for is Porterbuilt Products. You asked a question and got several answers to which if I were you I would run and run fast. You called him and he seemed okay because he wants your money. Spend your money and see if he's okay then. Just a scenario. Ask the same question on here about Porterbuilt and I am pretty sure there won't be any negative comments. I have bought Nate's stuff and the quality is beyond expert. From design, welds, quality, etc. you cannot beat his stuff. Not to mention he just doesn't build stuff and sell it. He actually designs it and tests it out before releasing it. Therefore, when someone asks a question about moving a part in or out an inch or up and down two inches he already has the pro and cons worked out. Just my $.02.

Re: Dallas Hot Rod Parts?

It's a GAMBLE. I bought some parts from him in the BYC days and had great service. I also heard of the bad, and the countless streetsource threads. Since he started DHP I havent heard any negatives. You can look over on DFWminis.com where he is getting his rep back and check his updates out. I believe he is on here also. Good Luck

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
