As a fellow who spent way too much time on an ambulance early in my career, I hate to read that. Personally, the patient living or dying isn't near as important as my partner's lives are. Those guys are human pinballs if you ever crash a box. Screw the patient, protect your brothers. No sense risking 3 lives to possibly save 1 life. Nice and easy does it.

Copy that.

A few years ago I was on a volunteer day crew manned mostly by grandmothers. One of my last runs was on a two lane road where the rig was bouncing so much I couldn't get an IV in. The driver (60ish) was offended when I yelled at her to slow.

One can notice that no one is setting any land speed records with our
trucks. Mine was originally dyno'd at 96mph with 36" tires,411s ,o/d and a
Detroit diesel. 64 4 x 4 panel
I did get it over 85 once; figured that was enough. It travelled well but
there is always that point that one should be comfortable with.
