Re: Th350 or 700r4 behind 420hp 383

I have a ART Carr 700r4 with the 9" convertor 3200 stahl, have had it for 8yrs no problems and almost 200 1/4 mile passes 12.60 @107 3300 lbs and i drive it like i stold it everytime. I called Art Carr and asked for some info once and almost got in a fight over the phone when he told me he never built a 700 come to find out they just use his name. That being said have you thought about a 2004r if your going to spend money on an overdrive their very good transmisions and can take more than the 700, also fit in the same hole as the th350. no drive line shortening

LOL. I got into an argument with another racer when I told him I had a Redneck converter made by Art Carr. He didn't believe me, but then I showed him my reciept and it said Art Carr/Redneck Performance. I did some digging after that and it seems that a lot of people use his name in/on/around there products.
