Need extended brake lines

I am trying to find a good price on extended brake lines for my 77. Just put a 6" BDS lift and the fronts are to my guesstimation around 6" short. All I want is rubber hoses. Also need some suggestions on getting the old steering arm off. One more thing is would it be easy to make my own front sway bar lowering extensions and how? Thanks for all your help.

Re: Need extended brake lines

I used Russell online, tech guy helped me get what I needed for my mutant (59 frame 74 axles. I went with stainless braided and got the three lines (two front, one rear) for not much more than rubber on sale.

Re: Need extended brake lines

Here are some rubber ones from Rough Country. $34.95 for the fronts and $17.95 for the rear.

Use the search button for info on getting the steering arm off. It has been covered many times.

For the sway bar, Ive never done it, but some square tubing would probley space the frame mounts down.

Re: Need extended brake lines

On my 74 k20 I just use 2wd brake lines becouse they are longer. I have a 4 inch lift. I'm not sure how much longer they are but its worth looking into.

That`s what I have heard. On my`72 K2500 I`m going to get mid-70s C20 brake hoses front & rear.On my last`72 K/20 lift I ordered the braided ss kit from 4WPW,it was a joke. The fronts were fine. The rear hose was female at both ends.Does anyone have a GM truck with a male end on the inlet of the junction block?Besides that,it was the wrong size fitting. That`s when I went with Inline Tube and got from the hose to the wheel cyls. That axle line threaded into the cyls easier than any I ever have installed.I was amazed, just thread them straight in...perfect.
