This chevy truck axle is a good replace for my blazer rear axle?

Hi, I have a 1973 GMC Jimmy 4x4 for a restore project, but, the rear axle is not the original, (the old owner replaced the axle with another model with 5 nuts in the wheel) now I want to replace this with another axle, because I want to activate the 4x4 option in the blazer, after some search here, I found a chevrolet truck, it's for sale, I want to know if I can use the rear axle, I want to know if this axle is the same model of the blazer o GMC jimmy 1973

here is the truck... (all I know is: this is a 69 truck, 2WD, L6 250 engine, suspension: front coils rear leaf)

It is hard to tell from the pictures, but I think it will swap over. As long as it is going leaf spring to leaf spring you may need to move the spring perches.

Please remember that you need to make the gears match front/back, otherwise bad things happen!

Are you trying to go from "5 nuts" to "6 nuts"?

I think that green 2x4 might be a 5 Nutter?

Yea x2 that's exactly what I was thinking. Need to find a 4x4 with the 6lug set up! Don't forget to match the gears like stated above.
