based on the info that i found( google it, i used identifying a gm carrier as key words) it would seem that 411's is a 4 series carrier, i know my factory 373's are on a 3 series carrier.....double check me before laying down your hard earned cash!!... but it seems that its a 4 s. carrier....

Re: help me figure out a posi for my 67

kgt and anyone else im looking for a bit more info, from what ive seen and read here i have a 4 series carrier due to the default that i have 4.11's......BUT ive heard this can be done with a 3 series carrier using either shims or a thiker ring gear meaning i may have a 3 series carrier. true or false

true. a shim can be used but is not the best idea from what i have been told, same with the thicker ring gear, if its a aftermarket ring gear, if its a gm ring gear than its a 4 series carrier
