radiator support identification

I am going to a swap meet in a couple of weeks looking for a radiator support for my 67. What are the differences between the years? Pictures would help also. Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: radiator support identification

67 and 68 had the headlight bucket as part of the support panel. 69 on they welded an extra bucket to the panel to bring the headlight further forward. You can make a 67-68 from a later one by grinding off the extensions and drilling holes in the built-in bucket.

Re: radiator support identification

69 supports are identical to 72. He's asking about 67-68 which is different than 69-72 ones.

Re: radiator support identification

The 67/68s also have a row of holes with nuts welded on the back side that the factory gravel deflector or splash shield can be bolted to it. The 69/72s did not use them. WES

Re: radiator support identification

Try searching "1967 / 1968 Chevrolet Truck Radiator Support " on google images than do the same for "1969 through 1972 Chevrolet Truck Radiator Support "

I got lot of images and you should be able to see the differences
