Re: For all you wiring Gu-Ru's
+ off batt now goes to cab unfused.-----line says 8g wire, but it has to be bigger, used to supply amp for stereo. ;;;;/w/ new wire. AMERICAN WIRE
+ off alt. goes to + on batt. (direct to terminal) ("8"g wire);;;;;;/w/ new wire. AMERICAN WIRE exciter off alt goes to +off alt. (fuel proof, heat proof, 40a safe);;;;;/w/ new wire. AMERICAN WIRE relay wire to exciter= stock. temp sender=stock fuel gauge=stock purple starter wire=stock ammeter fused links (two 5a) , one went from off firewall to fuse box, and so did the other. solution? splice both wires protected by a 10a blade fuse. /w/ new wire. AMERICAN WIRE ground goes to -on alt and direct to fender.---0g wire;;;;;/w/ new wire. AMERICAN WIRE questions? ask away!!! Last edited by spinem; 04-11-2010 at 02:38 AM. |

Re: For all you wiring Gu-Ru's
Yo! Looks like nice wiring work.
I finished FRANKENTRUCK's just like this prior to engine installation,...complete with looms. It includes MSD ignition wiring. Sure wish my firewall, brake booster, and master looked as pretty as your's! The attention to detail will pay off in the end! What is the retrograde loom travelling passenger to driver's side across the upper firewall,...I don't recognise that set of wires. Todd.

Yo! spinem!
No,...I DO see engine wiring coming out of the loom I asked about,...where does the rest of that loom got to when it gets to the passenger side? Heater? Does it continue to the battery? Todd.
