Prefab door jambs????

Hi, got a 72 C10 with rust on tops of the door jambs. The way they're made, it seems kinda tricky to fab the new part. Anybody know of any premade replacement parts, ala floor pan/ cab corner replacement??? HELP!!!!

Re: Prefab door jambs????

Welcome! Probably best to find a donor cab.

Re: Prefab door jambs????

post some pics. Just about anything can be fabricated or patched but not sure what you mean by rust on top of door jams. It not a typical place these trucks rust. Not sure what you mean by door jams i guess. If they are rusted out where i think they are by the usual definition of Door jambs you would probably be better off with a less rusted cab.

Or maybe a top skin with supports and upper jamb????

I mean inside the door seals there's some minor rot. Also some rot over the (brand new) windshield someone else put in that I haven't ironed out yet. When I did my Nova I was able to find a top skin and then the rest of the interior roof parts brand new from the column seams up. That's kind of what I'm looking for, except for the skin, which is good. Anybody? They make them for cars, so why can't I find them for trucks??? Doesn't seem fair. Everybody knows real men drive trucks. Oh, yeah, and I will post some pics tomorrow.
