Vent Window Seal Question-Part II

For those of you who responded to my earlier post and also for those who wish to chime in, when replacing the division bar channel insert and the vent window seals did you rivet through BOTH the side seal and the div. bar insert or just the vertical vent window seal itself and glue the bar insert?
Thanx!

We always glue the felt strip into the division bar. We use 3M Trim
Adhesive.

When I changed mine out this past winter, I just riveted the vent seals back into place and used some trim adhesive to hold the division bar channel insert in place.
