Re: What did you get done? 04/11 Masters Edition

I went to the crusher, only to find out that they had crushed the blazer I wanted parts off of. I left and went two junk-yards and one had just finished crushing and the other was in the process of crushing everything. Oh well they have to eat too. Installed one header, the windshield, removed the O2 sencer to try to make a bung for the headers, finished the sterring column rebuild. I hauled home another project. The 1955 Panel Truck Is now home. But best of all I went with the familly to God's house for worship. I also cleaned the chicken house poop out.

Re: What did you get done? 04/11 Masters Edition

I got a new windshield today to replace the cracked one on the cfc cab swap. The guy they sent was old school and really knew what he was doing.
I had the window already prepped I epoxied, based and cleared the window channel, plus I had the new rubber gasket already in place for the new Pilkington glass.

It was in fairly good shape but looked like it had a replacement window and someone used some urethane on the rubber gasket wtf?
Anyway what a pia to clean that chit out.

Re: What did you get done? 04/11 Masters Edition

I spent Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in Austin, TX doing stuff related to the Lonestar Roundup in my '37 Chevy coupe. http://www.lonestarroundup.com/ Had a blast looking at about 1300 pre-1964 traditional hotrods and kustoms.

The cruising on S. Congress was amazing Friday and Saturday nights. Saturday night and Sunday there were parties at Austin Speed Shop and Mercury Charlie's. Junior Brown played for us at Mercury Charlie's shop. It was an awesome weekend.

(Junior Brown playing in "Nadine," Mercury Charlie's Mercury Kustom on Sunday)

Well infinite thanks to the person that posted above me, Slonaker. I was finally able to "finish" the truck's engine and got it started yesterday!
