Hidden Hitch behind factory wrap around bumper

Is there a hidden hitch that will be located behind the license plate on a factory wrap around bumper for an 86? Let me know if anyone knows of one.

Hey I was thinking the same thing. I want a stock bumper and a hidden hitch too. I have a welder and might have to make one myself. Where at in TX are you located??? I'm just south of the DFW area. Little burg of Venus off Hwy 67 between Midlothian and Avarado.

Me too. lol

I bet you could build a flip up license plate with a spring attachment and hide the hitch welded on the frame behind the bumper tucked away? I have pics of my bumper that I can post later tonight at home if needed to explain?

Thank you.

I remember one time I was renting a U Haul trailer. The guy followed me out to get me hooked up and said "....how you gonna do this? You don't have a hitch?!?!"

Without saying a word, I flipped the plate up and stuck the mall mount in the hitch.

He said "...ok. You got me."

Re: Hidden Hitch behind factory wrap around bumper

i was in a junk yard today and inside of a suburban there was hitch called hidden hitch sitting right in the back of it wish it was still installed so i could see for my self.. but by looking at it it looked like it woud hide right behind the license plate cause the braket was smaller then the typical one that mounts to the frame... I'm tempted to get lol and take a pic of it

Re: Hidden Hitch behind factory wrap around bumper

Cool deal. So there are not any hitches out there that are intended to be behind the license pplates on these trucks but it can be done pretty easily. Thanks for the help.
