HEI conversion prep
Just bought this HEI unit on eBay. I'd like to be prepared for when it arrives. New plugs and wires are on the list. Are HEI wires different than points plug wires? any other suggestions? thanks in advance. |

What year of truck are you putting this in?
Yes the plug wires are different between hei and points.

the truck is a 1973 454. I suppose I will have to ask for plugs and wires for a 1975 or newer truck since HEI wasnt available till '75 (if memory serves me correctly).
