Passenger hold down bracket question
I bought a group of parts that the guy said all came from 71-72 blazers.
In the group is 4 passenger seat holddown brackets for the lock 2 brackets are 1/4 to 3/8 higher than the other 2. All the holes are the same they have the 4 dimples or ridges 2 on each side. They are exact just taller. Any one have any ideas I am going to list them for sale just wanted to make sure Thanks |

Re: Passenger hold down bracket question
If these are the ones off Ebay from Upnorthgm I would say the taller ones are 73-up. This guy would label his Mom "67-72 Chevy" if he thought he could sell her! There was a WTB ad that had good pics of correct 69-72 brackets. Sharpie

Re: Passenger hold down bracket question
Sharpie: The shorter ones have a GM number that is the same as the original one in my blazer so I know those are 70-72. I thought the others might be 73 and up. I actually like the ones sitting a little higher I have always thought the passenger seat in the rear sat a little too low putting a lot of pressure on the back of the seat

Re: Passenger hold down bracket question
True. I was also thinking maybe utility buckets, but I think the floor bracket is the same and the difference is in the seat brackets. I was just kidding about Upnorth, he's a buddy of mine, but still a bit of a scheister! Sharpie
