Need 67 hood advice
Just discovered my hood isn't cost-effective to fix. Should I try to find a good used OEM or just bite the bullet and get a Goodmark or TriPlus version for stupid money. I have not been too impresses with the fit and finish of the Goodmark high-end doors and fenders I bought.
For their cost I felt they should not need the expensive custom work my metal guy had to do to them to make them fit properly. Could use some sage advice. Looking for a stock (not cowl) look. I think it flows with the design of the truck better and I am not going for the Boy Racer look. Just my personal preference...nothing against the street racer look. Thanks for any advice. Tom

Re: Need 67 hood advice
You might want to post a want to buy on your local "Craigslist". I have found some parts that way.
I too like the stock hood. I just picked one up that was in pretty good shape for $60. Good luck. Danny

Re: Need 67 hood advice
I bought one at a swap meet last year for $100. Straight, rust free. There was several more this last time around as well just as nice for about the same price.

Re: Need 67 hood advice
Definately look for used. They are sometimes a better fit than new re-pops. They are always popping up in the local Craigslist. You can look for 67 AND 68.......GMC too!
