wipers
i have 1987 chevy silverado half ton. The wind shield wipers run all the time when key is on;. when i turn the switch it does nothing like it doest even work, so in order for my to turn them on and off i have to pop the hood an plug and unplug the power to them. if some one can help (wiring diagram) or a simple heres what u do. would be much help. my truck also has cruise an it work great. it gust makes no cents. PLEASE HELP

if you have intermittent wipers, it could be the box on the bottom of the column that controls then went bad

I have a similar problem on my 85 2wd. I turn the key to start it, like ignition on and then go once. And then they will not do **** when I actually want them too, so its the box at the base of the steering column?

My 82 would be fine when I started it but if I ran the wipers once they wouldn't turn off. I would have to turn off the truck and let it sit for a few seconds.
However, for as long as I drove the truck the wipers would always cycle once every 30 mins give or take.

my 87 sub would not "park" or "stop" the wipers i put a switch on the fuse as a temp fix

I'm havin the same problem the delay module went out on mine had to order a new one out of Utah because the part is obselete from the parts house
