Re: wipers

if you have intermittent wipers, it could be the box on the bottom of the column that controls then went bad

Re: wipers

I have a similar problem on my 85 2wd. I turn the key to start it, like ignition on and then go once. And then they will not do **** when I actually want them too, so its the box at the base of the steering column?

Re: wipers

My 82 would be fine when I started it but if I ran the wipers once they wouldn't turn off. I would have to turn off the truck and let it sit for a few seconds.

However, for as long as I drove the truck the wipers would always cycle once every 30 mins give or take.
