Bumper Guard ?'s
Does anyone know where I can get replacements for the rubber part of the 71-72 bumper guards? I don't really want NOS or anything like that, but I would like to find some new ones. Any vendors selling them on here?

Re: Bumper Guard ?'s
You may try finding a 73-87 truck, I believe the pads might interchange, but don't quote me on that. If not, I don't believe any sells just the pads, but only the whole assembly. Trevor

Re: Bumper Guard ?'s
That sucks, I have a set that don't really NEED replaced. I just thought it would be nice to find a nicer set of rubbers. Plus I need to replace the carriage bolts that mount them to the bumper and the bolts for the rubbers are kinda rusty. I don't want to break them off or something. I guess I'll just soak the pi$$ out of these things with penetrating fluid and hope for the best. Thanks Trevor.

Re: Bumper Guard ?'s
The pads do not interchange the bolt holes are a little different. I have never seen a set of just pads and the repops are not correct in the curve that they have at the top. Check w/ Roger Koop, he usually has a set restored- new chrome etc. - Ebay koopsparts or koops truck parts- he is not a member here as far as I know but is a good guy located in shawnee kansas i think...

Re: Bumper Guard ?'s
Thanks I'll take a look at his ebay and see what he's got. It's not too big of a deal if i don't see any thing I'll just be REAL careful removing mine.
